Over a year after season 1’s final episode, we finally have a date for season 2. “House of the Dragon” Season 2 will air sometime in June on HBO.
This news comes from J.B. Perrette, who is streaming and gaming chief for Warner Bros. Discovery. The executive revealed the launch month during an interview at Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media, and Telecom conference Monday.
This news is the most information on the show to date. The day has not yet been revealed.
The “Game of Thrones” spinoff is based on author George R.R. Martin’s book “Fire & Blood,” which takes place nearly 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.” The show features key events in the Targaryen dynasty about 100 years after they united the Seven Kingdoms in the fictional continent of Westeros.
The first season aired on August 21, 2022. The show has an 8.4/10 rating IMDB.
