A trailer has finally arrived for Rupert Sanders’ remake of ‘The Crow’, this one starring Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs. The 1994 original, which starred Brandon Lee, has become a cult classic. This is partly due to the tragic death of Lee, which occurred during filming.
The new film, from Lionsgate, will hit theaters on June 7.
Both films are based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr. In this version, Skarsgård plays Eric Draven, who is murdered alongside his girlfriend Shelly (FKA Twigs). In a limbo between life and death, Eric sets out to avenge their murders.
The trailer shows a montage of brutal violence, and Skarsgård’s Eric Draven is heavily tattooed.
